Jobs in the healthcare fields are in demand and one of the best and most accessible careers is that of a dental assistant. Every dental office employs dental assistants as a crucial part of their professional staff so qualified dental assistants will always find employment in this satisfying healthcare field. There is a San Diego dental assistance program at our San Diego Dental Careers school that can give the skills and hands-on experience in a real dental practice you need to get trained, experienced and proficient.
Unlike other dental assistance training schools our San Diego dental assistance program is based in large part on working alongside real working dentists in their practice with their patients. Our students learn what dentists really need and expect from their assistants as well as how to interact with patients of all types. Since our training program was formed and developed by a group of dentists and is actually operated within a million dollar dental practice the program’s emphasis is on the real-life training and experience you’ll need to be successful along with a solid foundation on the technical skills and background knowledge that will make you an invaluable part of whatever dental practice you eventually go to after graduation. Our students work within our state-of-the-art dental offices and have the opportunity to earn part of their tuition while they learn on the job, which is something that you won’t find in other dental assistance training programs.
Our San Diego dental assistance program can be taken on Saturdays from 8am to 5pm for 10 Saturdays plus 4 hours a week of on the job training. There are also evening training classes available. The fee for training for this lucrative career is only $3995, which can be financed and tuition maybe 100 percent paid for military spouses under MyCAA financing. Our program prepares you to work alongside dentists, oral surgeons, orthodontists and other dental specialists in half the time and at a fraction of the cost of most other programs. It is also a great starting point for those who later want to go on to become registered dental assistants or dental hygienists. At the completion of our course you’ll have 10 weeks of on the job experience, a certificate in dental assisting, an x-ray license and a CPR certification. Why not take the first step on the road to an exciting career in dentistry by getting in touch with our office today.
